My blog will be about recipes and active living. On how to enjoy excellent health through a whole food plant based diet free of refined sugars and oils.
What does whole foods actually mean?
Simply. Foods that are still in their natural state or minimally processed.
I am a health and nutrition coach, fitness instructor and self taught cook. I have taken many plant based cooking classes both at home in Australia and overseas. I absolutely love working with people to educate them on achieving their best health.
My aim is to empower people to build positive relationships with health promoting plant foods. To nourish your body not only with good food but with an active lifestyle and exercise.
I cook and prepare plant foods at home and am a whole food plant based vegan. But I am not worried about labels. I think food should be fun and taste delicious. Keep it simple. Eat whole fresh foods most of the time and think about food as an expression of love towards your body. I’m not into “diets” and counting calories. Think about foods as nourishment for a strong healthy body that will take you on a lifetime of adventures. The by product of foods that make you feel this way is maintaining a healthy weight.
